[Though Izuku hasn't exactly been slacking off in the cleaning department, helping other people clean their houses or even just helping repair other parts of the town means that his own space has been sadly neglected.

Whenever Guren drops in to visit, he'll spot Izuku just returning from fetching a bucket of water for cleaning. The reason for his obvious panicking becomes clear when the house's floor voice rings out clearly, scornfully.] They were right, you know. You probably won't amount to anything in the end. [Then, the walls chime in helpfully.] What makes you think you can be a hero? You're useless.

[Izuku's entire body is tense, even as he quickly wets the mop and begins cleaning the floor with a silence that's uncharacteristic for him.]

[He can hear it from outside the door. Not bothering with a knock, he lets himself in, stopping short before he steps on any of the floor Izuku is trying to clean.]

Hey. [Of all people, Izuku is insecure about his strength. It does make sense to Guren, though. It's people with the most power who crave it more, usually, isn't it? There's always a reason. Guren has that same greed. He leans against the door frame, eyes flicking to Izuku to size him up.]

It's a few hours after Guren texted her about sparring and she wasn't going to bother him but... he just seemed so terse. It's only been a few days after their foray into the forest and he's already pushing himself to contact people. She's not sure if he's doing it to stay busy or what, but whatever it is she decides that he needs a break.

Hopefully he doesn't get too annoyed at her for the unexpected visit.]

[He's busy, he's tired, he's stressed— all of this is hidden from his face with expertise, but his actions are more focused and his eyes look a little dead when he answers the door. Emma gets a long stare before Guren opens the door the rest of the way, sighing. She's going to want to come in, of course.]

[But he's curt... Moreso than usual, if him immediately turning to walk inside and away says anything.]

[ it's been the longest few days of his life, but finally—finally, he thinks he can feel that familiar pain creeping over his chest. it's distant at first, like he's remembering only a shadow of his sin, but the more he dwells, the stronger it becomes, and it's probably inevitable that he would work himself to tears just trying to grasp at that feeling again.

it hurts, terribly. but it hurts in a way that he knows how to deal with, and on top of the guilt he's always known, smaller snatches of it slip through—he feels bad, for worrying guren so much, when he was going to be fine in the end anyway. "fine," by his skewed standards, at least.

he tries not to wait too long, but he doesn't want to bother guren either, so he picks a time late into the evening and hopes that guren will get it in the morning. ]

[The thing is, Guren isn't sleeping much at all, so he's already taken his like two hour nap and called it enough. He's in the middle of writing out notes on what sort of drugs he might be able to come up with here, with what materials he has, when he gets this message. He doesn't waste time replying.]

...However, as a side note, I hope you're aware that continuing to allow these children to run a town is only asking for trouble. In response to what should by all accounts be considered an emergency, you have invitations for snacks and games, as if we're simply on a long-winded picnic and will return home at sundown. Is this how we should expect future crises to be handled?

But this town is children, for the most part. Don't think their age or a few of them speaks for all of them. Akira's post is a good example, and the two you're talking about mean well. I don't think it's a bad thing.

The patrol teams are set for a good couple of months, but there are always things we can do in the meantime, if you're interested. But once we rotate, having new faces and help on the team would be very important, as well.

[It's actually like...a day or two after the actual reward's obtained before Minato even really feels up to messaging Guren, after even his Salvation spell didn't quite get rid of the need to throw up everything he'd eaten and then some, and left him curled up in a ball on the floor. But that purple potion keeps taunting him, sitting so innocently on the floor, and he's never felt so intensely ready to get rid of something.

It's a group of people who are capable of helping keep the town and its inhabitants safe. What that entails depends on what's going on in the town. Anyone can help, but I sort people based on their abilities. Some aren't combat ready and stick to projects in the town, but right now I've got a majority of people who are capable and trustworthy, so I've split them into three teams, based on the districts.

I plan on shifting responsibilities every two months to make sure there aren't any weak spots or holes, and so everyone can become comfortable with each area.

I know exactly who you're talking about. Damn it, I knew he seemed like a psycho. First thing's first, who's Okuyasu's friend? I need his name and hex code to find out what exactly happened.

The plan is come to me, so good job. Realistically, if something like this is persistent, we'll have to bring it up not just at the defense force meetings, but at those meetings at city hall people want to keep up. In the short term, though, I'll address it. If that doesn't work, we'll go from there.

Don't worry about it or spread this too much, but don't go near that guy, either. It's not that I doubt your strength or anything, but I'd rather see what he's about first.

This is Bruce Wayne. Two things.

1) I'm planning to take a roll call, especially after the recent quest. Having a headcount of everyone here and their associated color would be helpful during times we're separated by color. An overall number will also be good to track patterns. Do you know if anyone's been keeping track of who's left and their colors as well?

2) I think it would be a benefit to build a shelter near the well and keep a packet of information and a supply kit there, like the towels from before. We can chop down some wood from the forest and put together a lean-to in the area. If we're able to make a map like mentioned, that would be a good area to affix it since it's in the center of town and new arrivals can witness it.

What do you think of having people list their homes on the map as well? Name + Hex so people can use the map to find them if they met each other on the forums.

Let me know your thoughts.

Hey, Bruce. I hope you dealt with everything that just happened alright.

First, people have been keeping track, to a point, but I don't know if any of them have a documented list. I have one of people that I know, personally, and people that I've observed and don't have hex codes for, but it's largely incomplete. I'd rather you work with what you get on a post and what others give you. The first two that come to mind are Izuku and Dave, part of the force. They both had mentioned it before.

Second... I don't like assuming that even more people are going to come based on two events, but I can't say you're wrong, either. I'd like to see what the others think, so poll people on that, if you can. As for listing names and hex codes on homes... That's another thing you'll have to poll on. A lot of people are more secretive with their identities and safety than others. I don't mind it myself, but I can deal with it if someone targets me. You understand?

Along those same lines, it might help to tell everyone you're part of the force, and that I put you in charge of census. A few people might not like that, but a majority of them might actually feel more comfortable, since they're more familiar with me.
