[ That's a polite greeting for Fushimi. He doesn't look like shit yet, at least, aside from the weird tension in his frame. ]

Don't "what" me. I know you're upset.

[Just talk to him, punk!!]

[dualtone]

It's fine, isn't it? He'll turn back to normal and smack his head against something trying to do his weird kick flips.

[ RIGHT, GUREN? YATA WILL BE OKAY, RIGHT? ]

[swordfucker]

[Frowns.......]

From what I've heard, everyone else who's turned to stone returns to normal. [A pause.] But what are you going to do if he doesn't?

[dualtone]

[ Fushimi looks genuinely lost for a split second at Guren's question. He'd been doing his best not to think about what would happen if Yata didn't come back, and the idea of it --

Well, it isn't one that he wants to think about, and it isn't one that he wants to deal with. For a second, he looks very, very young, and he covers for it by looking away and clicking his tongue. ]

You kidding? That guy can't stand not being in the middle of things.

[swordfucker]

Don't play around, Fushimi.

[He knows how hard it is, and that's exactly why he's pushing it. Yata might come back fine. In most cases, that seems to be what happens. But what if this is the first time it's not?]

It's a question you need to answer for yourself. Don't cling to the idea of him coming back. It'll only hurt more if he doesn't.

[dualtone]

He'll come back. [ Fushimi's jaw is set and his tone is starting to veer from dispassionately bored to actually irritated, because he doesn't want to think about this at all. He just got Yata back, they just resolved everything -- he doesn't want to think about Yata not coming back, about Yata getting dragged away from him when Yata's just about the only thing in this place that makes any degree of sense to Fushimi, and that's practically a miracle given how hard Yata is to understand. ]

He's not the sort of guy to disappear even if someone wants him to. [ Fushimi knows this from experience. ]

You're talking about something very different from our own homes, here.

[He's worried about the way Fushimi handles things. It's not healthy, and he can see that, but he's so stubborn that he won't fix it, either. Nothing Guren says is going to change it, he knows, and so he'll have to just keep checking on him and Yata's statued up self.]
